In the article "Finding the Names Among the Ashes", the author described Forensic Scientists nowadays could use advanced technology to figure out how to analyze the remain body ashes in fire and scan the remaining skeleton. "Depending on how intact the remains are and how much damage has been done to the body by the heat of the flames, investigators will turn to different methods in order to make the quickest and most reliable identification possible. According to Anthony Falsetti, a board-certified forensic anthropologist and professor at Arizona State University’s School of Mathematical and Natural Sciences, investigators will often look to a victim’s dental records first, if possible." This quote described in detail how investigators identify the body after the fire. DNA remained in his/her teeth is an important information for Forensic Scientists to identify the identity of that victim.
This also related to our lives every day because there are natural disasters all around the world, sometimes people could die in an accident, such as the fire. And now Forensic Scientists have advanced technology to determine the identity of the victim which helps their family to find out where their relatives are.
I think overall this article described how advance technology could work in Forensic Science to identify those ashes.  But I think they still need to improve.

Yi Fei is a star and everything she does is amazing. This review used a quotation from the original article which is a win. This review does a good job when it connects forensic technological advancements to our lives by talking about natural disasters. Yi Fei also provided some interesting details about how scientists use dental records in practice.
Some of Yi Fei’s sentences were redundant so she could have tightened the writing of the report. Yi Fei also didn’t include any details about how the original article could improve, I am curious and want to know more.
I think it is very cool that forensic technologies continue to develop, and am excited to see what scientists come up with next.

My fellow classmate Yi Fe did a great job in analyzing the article “ Finding the Names Among the Ashes” written by the author Laura French. The article described how with new technologies in the forensic department, scientist are now able to identify people whose body remains are ash. My classmate does a good job with explaining what would normally be a long and confusing description of the scientific process, into a simpler and easy to understand description. She exclaimed that it is difficult already to identify a body through skeletal remains, however it is much harder to identify them when the bones left behind are damaged from the aftermath of fire. This article was very interesting and educational to read, it was cool to read about new techniques in the forensic field.

However, the description could have had more information on the technology itself, she mostly described the effect it had on the forensic field, rather than what it actually was. She aldo could have gone into more detail concerning the article, the description was short and hard to follow at times. If she added more detail, it would have made it flow through properly, making the reader get a better understanding of the article.

This article opened my eyes to the difficulties surrounding the forensic field, it gave me a better understanding on how these scientist find the information needed for cases.

Yi Fe did a awesome job breaking down the article " Finding the Names Among the Ashes" composed by the writer Laura French. The article portrayed how with new innovations in Forensics, now researcher are presently ready to distinguish individuals whose body remains are ash. My schoolmate does a great job in regards to clarifying what might regularly be a long and befuddling depiction of the logical procedure, into an easier and straightforward portrayal. She shouted that it is troublesome as of now to recognize a body through skeletal remains, nonetheless it is substantially harder to distinguish them when the bones abandoned are harmed from the consequence of flame. This article was extremely intriguing and instructive to peruse, it was cool to learn about new methods in the Forensics fields.

In any case, the portrayal could have had more data on the innovation itself, she for the most part depicted the impact it had on the measurable field, as opposed to what it really was. She also could have really expounded concerning the article, the review was short and difficult to take after on occasion. On the off chance that she included more detail, it would have influenced it to course through legitimately, improving the peruser get a comprehension of the article.

I liked how Yi Fei included quotes in her review, since it always makes a review sound nicer and shows evidence supporting the facts that are stated. I also liked that she included the importance of this in our own lives, and talked about uses of forensic science other than investigating crime scenes. Another thing she did very well was explain the whole thing briefly, which kept the review from getting boring.
Something I think could be improved on is the critique at the end, because while she states that the article could be improved, she doesn’t explain how.
I didn’t find anything about this very surprising, since I knew that the skeleton was the most intact part of the body after a fire, and that identity could be determined from teeth.

Your review of "Finding the Names Among the Ashes: Identifying Bodies After a Fire" by Laura French was very well done. I thought that you did a nice job with your summary of the article, it gave all the info i needed, and wasn’t horribly long. It does not bore the reader with useless information and you are able to move to the main point of your review faster. I also like that you used quotes from the article and analysed their meaning to give us a deeper understanding of the article.
Although your article was good, there are some things that you could improve on, I would have liked to know how the technology works in addition to the effect on helping investigators. If the article doesn’t go over that then it might be helpful to point that out as a flaw. I also believe that you could have improved on some minor grammatical errors. This would stop the reader’s attention from being drawn away from the content of the review towards the grammar.
I overall enjoyed your review. I am intrigued by this finding because I think it could be a very big breakthrough for forensic science.
