Kevin Bisconti

There now is a new way to conduct autopsies without using any type surgery. This method can be used for natural and violent deaths alike also for individual deaths and mass fatalities. This new method is also friendly towards certain religions that have certain ceremonies for the deceased.

This new method came about from the University of Leicester under professor Rutty. The new autopsy starts off with an injection to the neck with contrast and take a full body CT (Computed Tomography) Scan by using this method forensic pathologist are able to determine up to 80% of deaths. This technique looks at the vessels of the heart of the deceased. This method also is very inexpensive and easy to use in all cases whether they are natural or unnatural death.. This still is in the works but the university plans to run many more test with many different scenarios.

I think that this was a very interesting article. However I don’t not think they went into that much detail about how the operation is done. I would have liked them to go into further detail about how the operation is preformed.

One aspect of this review that was well presented was how people are perceiving this new technique. It is good to know that this technique is non-invasive and it is also acceptable by some religions that would otherwise have an issue with autopsies. Another technique that was well presented was how the procedure works. It was important to know how this technique differs from a regular autopsy. The last piece of information that was well presented was how Kevin explained that this technique can be used in any death case. This technique is not limited to the type of death and the situation that it occurred.
This review could have been made better if there was a little more information on the process of the autopsies. This review is lacking a bit a information that would make the process a little more clear. This review would also be better if there was an example of this new technique being used. While the accuracy is mentioned, there aren’t any examples of when it proved to work.
This article as a whole impressed me. I was unaware of this new advance in the world of autopsies and now I know about it.

There were 3 aspects of Kevin’s response that I found well presented. First, I like how he described that there now is a new way to conduct autopsies without using any type of surgery. Also, how this method can be used for natural and violent deaths alike for individual deaths and mass fatalities. The third thing that was well presented was how this technique could be used in any death case.

There were 2 things that should be done for this article to be improved. First, the response was too short and did not have enough information on the given topic. Second, it would have been interesting if Kevin mentioned an example of how this technique is used.

One thing that I was impressed about and not aware of before was that there is an autopsy technique capable of being used without the use of surgery.

I though Kevin did a good job in explaining how people are accepting this new technique. It attracts new groups of people whose religions forbid having autopsies. Kevin also did a good job in explaining how well the new technique works. He showed the differences between it and a regular autopsy. It was also interesting to learn that this technique can be used in any sort of death case.
This could have been better if it went into more depth in describing the differences between the new technique and a regular autopsy. It would have also been better if Kevin included if this technique is currently being used by forensic scientists.
Overall, I thought this article was very well done. I was completely unaware of this new method that can enhance the studies of forensic scientists around the globe.

I thought that this article was very interesting. This review was well written as well. One aspect that was well explained was what people think of this new technique. Another aspect that I thought was interesting was how Kevin described the new way to conduct autopsies. I thought it was very interesting that this new technique can be used with natural and violent deaths as well. Another aspect that was well presented was how the procedure works.
Although this review was well written, there could have been more information about the autopsies. This article review could have been better if the information was more understandable in some cases. This review could have been better if Kevin had included examples. This article was very interesting. It is amazing how technology can change autopsies for the better.
